The Str TV blog has recently been chosen as one of the top 200 HipHop blogs on the planet by Feedspot.com ( https://blog.feedspot.com/hip_hop_blogs/ )   and is currently making moves to slip into the top 100.

The blog has been active for a couple of years with @L7_sativa serving as both journalist & editor, with @KelaGriot coming on as a journalist since 2018 and Madineo joining also as a journalist in 2020, now the publication seeks to expand by growing a team that will be behind the blogs vision of bringing the HipHop culture in its most pure form to the masses.

One of the continents most reveered and active production houses "The Hempire Media" and its Hip Hop publication started as an informative source of news about the culture in general and has now evolved and grown to be a formiddible source of info regarding Hempire Word Wide's Hip Hop content along with its network that spans from the South of Africa to the African continent to countries like Kenya, Cameroon, Tanzania to the United States of America, Europe and South & North America. 

The indie blog serves to portray the Hempire's involvement and contribution to the Urban youth culture since appearing on the scene making a notable impact from 2012 and going live a couple of years later. 

As many other blogs simply merge HipHop news with non HipHop content with the aim of increasing numbers etc, theres a couple of things that sets the blog apart from others like the fact that we keep our news strictly Hip Hop and never ever try to mix, use or publish pop news aka "mainstream RAP" or any other element of the culture as we keep it a positive and progressive with the real and most relevant information as possible.
