L7 features on the 2019 Back To The City Mixtape Challenge

The Hempire Co is back with another offering and this time its via Back to the city festival.

After appearing with the hit single All Rise on TTPs 2017 Back To The City Mixtape Challenge tape titled "Mind Over Matter", L7 is back 2 years later to feature on the challenge himself . 

The festival takes up a new format on the Mixtape challenge and see's artists invited to submit a mixtape to be released free on a virtual platform celebrating the art of RAP and DJing within the culture.

With The Str TV 3 Mixtape out for free download and the 4th tape scheduled to drop in the summer of 2019, the mixtape put forth for the challenge is titled "The Str TV: Season 3.

The Hempire Co uses the BTTC mixtape entry to promote both mixtapes while simultaneously using L7 as a prelude to the TST4 release.

The V as L7 is also known, features an all West Rand affiliation on the tape except for Joint pusher appearing on the Illest produced "Stand Up", Brotherhood Of The MIC member ObsqO appearing on "The West" while "cRhyme 7ife" sees "AbslutIll" formally known as Cage Erro drop mad rhymes, "Toxic Flow and Syllable Skillz" (of Chronic Disturbance) appear on the L7 produced "Antidote" with cRhyme Music produced by Toxic Flow, "Sta B" (of Sky Klinic) makes a comeback on the tape after a long hiatus from producing to deliver a banger on Karma, while "Slam Tactics" delivers dope melodies for the intro "Master Se7f".
